Image of Ablic S-82D9/F9 Battery Monitoring IC ABLIC S-82D9/82F9 series battery monitoring ICs can light up four or five LEDs and monitor voltage to provide a simple indication of the remaining battery level. Integrating multiple voltage monitoring functions into a single IC helps save space in systems. Furthermore, operating without a microcontroller reduces power consumption for battery voltage monitoring.

The S-82F9/82D9 series offers a choice between EN (enable) and SENSE pins, making it ideal for simple battery level indication in various devices.

Two LED lighting methods are available: “full charge all on” and “individual step voltage on,” allowing users to choose the optimal option for their application.

- S-82F9 series: V_HYS1(S) to V_HYS5(S) = 0 mV, 50 mV, 300 mV, 400 mV, and 500 mV
- S-82D9 series: V_HYS1(S) to V_HYS4(S) = 0 mV, 50 mV, 300 mV, 400 mV, and 500 mV
Current consumption:
- During operation: I_DD1 = 10 μA max
- During power-off: I_DD2 = 0.1 μA max
