Analog Devices’ power amps for RADAR, VSAT, and MILCOM applications
ADI’s HMC5805A is the next generation of wideband gallium arsenide (GaAs) monolithic microwave integrated circuit (MMIC) power amplifiers which operate from a frequency of DC to 40 GHz. This amp puts out a high P1dB of output power at 24.5 dBm and high Psat output power of 27 dBm and a gain of 11.5 dB. Output IP3 is at 29 dBm. The HMC5805A comes in a 16-CSMT (6 x 6) package and has a temperature range of -40°C to +85°C. The HMC5805A is ideal for MILCOM applications such as RADAR, VSAT, and microwave radio.
