There are two versions available, one with an open deck baseplate with a total height of 14.7 mm and another with a flat baseplate with a height of 14.2 mm. The product features an input of 40 V to 60 V and a fully regulated output of 12.2 V, adjustable from 8 V to 13.2 V.

An innovative transformer-coupled non-isolated topology reduces component count and current stresses and delivers efficiency levels of up to 97.8%. The converter can be used in parallel operation, gaining higher power if required. This feature is supported by using passive droop load sharing (DLS). The BMR351 converter is a popular intermediate bus converter (IBC) for users transitioning from a legacy AC to 12 V input to a new AC to 48 VBUS with step-down 48 V to 12 V on a power distribution board or motherboard.
