AIROC™ CYW43022 Wi-Fi 5 + Bluetooth® 5.4 Combo

Infineon Technologies' AIROC CYW43022 1x1 dual-band (2.4 GHz/5 GHz) Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac) + Bluetooth 5.4 is an ultra-low-power connectivity device designed to address IoT designs needing minimal power consumption and compact size. With its low transmit/receive power and optimized Deep Sleep mode, applications such as wearables, IP cameras, and smart door locks are ideally suited for CYW43022. An embedded Bluetooth stack and Wi-Fi networking offloads allow CYW43022 to save system-level power by handling Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity activity without the involvement of a host processor.

Murata Type 2GF is a small and high-performance module based on the Infineon AIROC CYW43022 combo chipset, which supports Wi-Fi 802.11a/b/g/n/ac + Bluetooth 5.4 BR/EDR/LE up to 78 Mbps PHY data rate on Wi-Fi and 3 Mbps PHY data rate on Bluetooth. 2 Mbps LE PHY is also supported. The WLAN section supports the SDIO v2.0 SDR25 interface and the Bluetooth section supports a high-speed 4-wire UART interface and PCM for audio data.

With the ability to pair with Infineon's ultra-low-power, flexible, and secure PSoC™ 6 MCUs within ModusToolbox™ software and tools as well as third-party A-Class and M-Class MCUs, AIROC CYW43022 supports Linux, Android, and RTOS designs.

Provided as a collection of development tools, libraries, and embedded runtime assets, ModusToolbox Software is architected to provide a flexible and comprehensive development experience. Runtime Software comprises middleware, device drivers, and code examples and is provided via an extensive collection of GitHub-hosted repositories.
