Boxed Polypropylene Film Capacitors

Panasonic is pleased to introduce the expansion of the ECW-F(E) series. Previously this series was rated for 450 VDC, 1 μF or 2.2 μF applications only. It is now also available from 0.1 to 4.7 μF (in 450 VDC) and 0.1 to 2.2 μF (in 630 VDC). The outer-box construction of this series gives it the capability of withstanding vibrations better than a standard dipped-type film capacitor. This part is ideal for power supplies, PFC, and other applications where vibrations are a subject of concern.

Radial Leaded Aluminum Electrolytic Capacitors

Gold Cap Electric Double Layer

Panasonic Electronic Components’ Electric Double Layer Capacitors, known as “Gold Capacitors”, offer the highest volumetric efficiency of all capacitor technologies. They are often compared to secondary batteries. Unlike batteries, Gold Capacitors do not rely on a chemical reaction to produce electric current. Rather they are storage cells that utilize the absorption/release reaction of ions. Gold Caps have no limit to the number of charge and discharge cycles they can sustain and do not need a charging circuit. Repeated rapid charge and discharge cycles are acceptable.

ECK-THC series surface mount ceramic sub-class Y1-rated capacitors for power supply applications. This series is for line-to-ground use and has a voltage rating of 250 VAC. The ECK-THC series offers capacitance values of 100, 220, and 470 pF and capacitance tolerances of ±10 or ±20%. Flexible style terminations afford a greater measure of safety. ECK-THC series surface mount Y1-rated capacitors are a unique industry offering. Earlier solutions were a radial leaded (through-hole) capacitor or two Y2 surface mount capacitors in series.
