QM45500 7 GHz Wi-Fi 7 Front-End Module (FEM)

The Qorvo QM45500 is an integrated mobile Wi-Fi front-end module (FEM) designed for Wi-Fi 7 (802.11be) systems. The small form factor and integrated matching minimize layout area in the application. Performance is focused on optimizing the PA for a broad range of supply voltages (3.0 V < V_CC < 5.0 V). The multiple Wi-Fi T_X modes enable optimization of output power, linearity, and power dissipation that conserves power consumption while maintaining high linear output power and leading-edge throughput. The receive path matches optimal technologies to maximize R_X sensitivity through noise figure performance that is consistent over a wide variety of conditions. Integrated die-level filtering for second and third harmonics as well as 2.4 GHz rejection for DBDC operation are included. An integrated power coupler enables closed-loop power control and DPD optimization. The QM45500 integrates a multi-T_X state 5 7 GHz Wi-Fi power amplifier (PA), a single-pole, triple-throw (SP3T) switch, an ANT switch, a bypassable low-noise amplifier (LNA) with multiple R_X states, and a power coupler into a single device.
