The STMicroelectronics STPMIC2L fully integrated power‑management IC is tailored for STM32MP2x MPU applications that demand low power consumption and high efficiency. It incorporates advanced low‑power functions that can be managed by a host processor through I²C and general‑purpose I/O interfaces.

Its regulators are engineered to power both the application processor and external system components such as DDR and Flash memory devices. The device includes three buck SMPS converters optimized for fast transient response and precise output voltage across a wide range of operating conditions.

These converters employ an advanced PWM phase‑shift synchronization scheme with an integrated PLL, along with programmable spread‑spectrum frequency modulation, to help minimize EMI.
