Texas Instruments MSP430FR2000/MSP430FR2100 Family | DigiKey Daily

TI’s MSP430FR2000 and MSP430FR2100 family are ultra-low-power, low-cost MCUs with up to 3.75 KB of FRAM unified memory, which combines low-energy fast writes, flexibility, and endurance of RAM with the nonvolatility of flash. The MCUs include a 16-bit RISC core, low-power peripherals, and extensive low-power modes, all designed to extend battery life in portable sensing applications while increasing performance. Peripherals include an 8-channel, 200 ksps, 10-bit ADC, an enhanced comparator, and enhanced serial communications. The MCUs are available in 16-pin TSSOP and 24-pin VQFN packages. Existing designs using MSP430G2 series MCUs can migrate to the MSP430FR2000 and MSP430FR2100 family for increased performance and FRAM benefits.
