RM Series SMPS Stacked Capacitors

KYOCERA AVX Corporation's switch mode power supply (SMPS) capacitor product line is now offered as a RoHS compliant series. Designated the RM series, the lead free SMPS stacked capacitors provide high capacitance values with low ESR ratings in small footprints for high current/ripple applications. These rugged devices are uniquely suited for filtering capacitors on the input and output of power supplies or as snubber capacitors. The addition of the RM series stacked capacitors allows customers to choose between a tin/lead termination (SM series) or a RoHS compliant product, depending on their application specifications. The RM series is ideal for telecom power, industrial power, DC/DC converters, hybrid automotive applications, or any application that requires a RoHS compliant stacked capacitor.
