The free height connector grouping consists of vertical board-mount receptacles and plug assemblies. TE Connectivity offers these connectors in various combinations of plug and receptacle heights, providing design flexibility with the ability to vary the spacing between parallel boards. The .5 mm free height connector features a range of position sizes and is packaged for easy assembly. The PICMG COM Express® standard specifies the .5 mm free height product as the module-to-carrier card interface.
