AD957x Family of Ethernet Fiber Gigabit Network Clock Generators

ADI’s AD9571, AD9572, AD9573, AD9574, AD9575, AD9576, AD9577, and AD9578 are a family of single-, dual-, and multi-output clock generators for precision timing needed in communications, networking, and baseband applications.

The AD9571 / AD9572 provide a multi-output clock generator function comprising a dedicated single- and dual-PLL core that is optimized for Ethernet line card applications. The AD9571 has 10 clock outputs with a fully integrated VCO/PLL core.

The AD9573 / AD9575 offer a dual-output clock generator function including an on-chip PLL core that is optimized for network clocking. The integer-N PLL design is based on high performance, low jitter frequency synthesizers to maximize line card performance. The AD9573 has been optimized for PCI-Express (PCI-e) optimizations.

The AD9574 / AD9576 / AD9577 are multiple-output clock generators comprising a dedicated phase-locked loop (PLL) core optimized for Ethernet and gigabit Ethernet line card applications. The AD9577 has two additional on-chip PLL cores, PLL1 and PLL2, optimized for network clocking applications.

The AD9578 is a programmable synthesizer intended for jitter attenuation and asynchronous clocking applications in high performance telecommunications, networking, data storage, serializer / deserializer (SERDES), and physical layer (PHY) applications.
