They are available in several IP ratings and come in various colors, multiple white CCTs, and even RGB+IC and RGBW+IC which allows for unique color blending. The 12" lengths with wires are available for prototyping and testing purposes without having to purchase a full reel or wait weeks for a sample from the manufacturer. These lights are used for many applications in decorative, accent, and ambient lighting as well as for indication purposes.
