In summary, a Concerto device has two main subsystems, the Master subsystem (M or M3), which is based on an ARM Cortex-M3 CPU and the Control subsystem (C or C28x), which is based on the C28x floating point unit. A high-speed analog subsystem and supplementary RAM memory is shared, along with on-chip voltage regulation and redundant clocking circuitry.
